Start Creating for Free →1. Distribute a blank tens frame and a bag of 10 counters to each student. 2. Hide large number cards (1-10) in visible locations around the classroom. 3. Instruct students to find a hidden number card and remember the digit. 4. Students return to their desks and fill their tens frame with the matching number of counters. 5. Once a teacher verifies the frame, the student clears their board and hunts for a different number. 6. Repeat until students have successfully represented five different numbers.
